What is an Escape Room?
Escape Rooms are an experience everyone should try: a life-sized adventure game!
You and your friends are placed in a room for 60 minutes during a high-stakes scenario. You must solve a series of fun, yet challenging puzzles to complete your mission before time runs out! Failure means imprisonment, impending danger, or an altogether very bad ending.
Hints and clues are provided to help you and your team solve the puzzles and make your escape. You will have to use your wits, creativity, and team-work to regain your freedom.

How much does it cost?
How much is the deposit to book an escape room?
A one-player deposit is required to book your escape room.
If canceled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours notice, the minimum number of players required to play (ranging from 2-6 players) will be charged to the credit card on file.
Your one player deposit will contribute to the minimum player requirement.
Are the rooms bilingual (English and French)?
Should I book for just myself, or for my group?

If you have any players under 18 years old and their parent/guardian won’t be attending, please make sure they bring a pre-signed copy of this Under 18 Waiver Form, signed by a parent or guardian:
How many people are needed to play?
The smallest group able to book is 2 people for most rooms, however some rooms have a higher minimum number of players required.
You can still play rooms with less than the minimum number of people, however you would have to purchase the minimum number of tickets and the room will be more difficult.
Can we come with less than the maximum number of players?
Will we be paired with another group if we don't fill the room?
Do we need to request that our room be made private?
Can we hold our special / large / group / team event at Jigsaw
Can we change the number of people in our reservation?
Of course. Generally, for one room bookings, as long as your group will still have at least the minimum number of players needed for the room, you can let us know when you arrive.
You can also use the button labelled "View / Change Booking" in your confirmation email to update the number of players in your booking at any time.
If you'd like, you can send us a message, or give us a call for any changes to your group size.
If you would like to reschedule or cancel your reservation, you must give us 24 hours notice (for single escape room bookings). Rescheduling is based on current availability. See our cancellation policy on this page.
Can I cancel my reservation?
- For groups booking one (1) escape room: you may cancel and receive a refund up to 24 hours before your booking
- For large groups booking two (2) or more escape rooms: to receive a full refund, cancellations must be at least seven (7) days before your booking
You can cancel your booking using the button labelled “View / Change Booking” in your confirmation email. You can also send us a message to cancel your booking.
What is the cancellation policy for same day bookings?
Same day bookings are final. If you cancel or reschedule a same day booking, you'll only receive a full refund if another team books your time slot. Otherwise, you'll be charged for the minimum number of players required for the room, and we'll refund the remainder of your payment.
(A "same day booking" is an escape room reservation that is made on the same date as the escape. For example, if you create a booking today and the escape room you choose is also scheduled for today, that would be a same day booking.)
What happens if we don't show up for our booking without letting you know?
If you don’t show up for your booking, without letting us know at least 24 hours in advance for small groups or 7 days in advance for large groups (per the cancellation instructions on this page), then your time slot can no longer be booked by another team, and as a result your card will be charged a fee in the amount of the minimum number of players required to book the room (two players for most rooms, or four players for other rooms), minus the amount of your deposit.
It would be best to let us know ahead of time, though, using the instructions on this page (found under “Can we cancel our reservation?”).
What happens if we damage or take any props, equipment, or items?
If this happens, your group will be charged for any damage to the room, props, or equipment, for any items taken out of the facility, as well as for any malicious acts that cause us to have to close a room for a fix. Such acts affect the players that come after your group.

Do you use fog machines?
Where can we park?
There is nearby city street parking and paid parking garages/spaces located on Clarence Street, and also on Parent Avenue. There is also paid street parking on most streets in The ByWard Market; all of which are a short walk to Jigsaw.
The street parking is pay parking during the day, but becomes free after a specific hour (please check the parking signs to confirm whether you need to pay).
There is some free parking around the residential area on/off Parent Avenue. It's about a 5-minute walk to Jigsaw from there. If you park around there, then it's possible to find free parking for an hour or two. (Please read the parking signs to confirm whether you need to pay, and how long you can park there.)
